Dry summers, Humid winters
Aegean climate with the meltemi wind as the defining variable — strong dry NW winds in July-August make the south coast hot-but-comfortable and the north coast (Naoussa, Kolymbithres) a windsurfing paradise. Winters (Dec-Feb) are mild but rainy with occasional storms; locals lock up half the businesses October through March. May-June and September-October are the postcard windows — 20-25°C, swimmable seas, much fewer people.
