Field notes

One of the most stable tropical climates on the regional map — Curaçao sits below the main hurricane belt (along with Aruba and Bonaire) so direct hits are rare. Trade winds blow steadily year-round, keeping the 26–29°C heat workable. Rain is genuinely sparse (annual total under 600mm) — the wet season (October–December) brings short afternoon showers rather than the all-day downpours typical further north in the Caribbean. Effectively a year-round destination with the late-rainy-season the only mild caveat.
