Thailand DTV Day Tracker
The Destination Thailand Visa launched in 2024 grants 180 days per entry, multi-entry over 5 years, with a one-time in-country extension for 180 more. Track your current stay below.
Status
Enter your last Thailand entry date on the right.
Your DTV entry
The DTV is valid 5 years from issue, multi-entry. Each entry resets the 180-day clock — leave Thailand and re-enter, and you get a fresh 180 days. The in-country extension is one-time per entry. Saved in your browser.
How the rule works
Each entry on the DTV grants 180 daysfrom your date of arrival. Both your entry and your departure day count. The visa itself is valid for 5 years from issue, multi-entry — leaving Thailand and re-entering grants a fresh 180-day stay (the so-called “border bounce”).
The in-country extension
You can apply once per entry at a Thai immigration office for an additional 180 days, before your initial 180 expire. Cost is approximately 10,000 THB (~$280 USD). Toggle the extension on the right to recalculate against the 360-day total.
Eligibility
The DTV requires income/savings of approximately 500,000 THB(~$14K USD) and is open to remote workers, freelancers, and people coming for “soft-power activities” (Muay Thai, Thai cooking, traditional medicine). Issued at Thai embassies/consulates abroad — not on arrival.
What this isn’t
Not legal or immigration advice. Thai immigration policies can change with little notice — check with a Thai consulate, immigration attorney, or our visa services directory before making travel decisions. The 90-day reporting requirement is separate and applies to any stay over 90 days.
